The new Duet features BS-IV complaint engine with AHO
Earlier this week, Hero has unveiled the upgraded version of Duet in the Indian scooter market. The updated scooter gets some advanced features along with some cosmetic changes on the body. This scooter looks much closer to the Honda Activa with the similar headlamp and blinker cluster. At the front apron, it gets stunning new graphics, which is very neat and elegant. It also appears along the sides of the scooter.
Like the Hero Maestro, this one also gets a full metal body which includes front fender. Other attractive features are external fuel filling cap, integrated braking system, mobile charging socket, boot light, dual tone rear view mirror and digital instrument console. Moreover, it is BS-IV compliant engine with AHO feature.
This Hero Duet sits on 110.9cc, 4-stroke single cylinder engine which delivers a maximum power of 8 bhp @ 7500 rpm and a peak torque of 8.7 Nm @ 5500 rpm. The scooter has a top speed of 85 kmph and expected to have a mileage of 45 kmpl on highways. Hero Duet is available in two formats. One with the Drum brake Duet LX is priced at Rs 47,945 and the Disc brake model Duet VX is available at Rs 49,565 ex-showroom New Delhi pricing. It is available in 5 attractive colours.
