Honda Motorcycles has launched the upgraded Activa 125 for the year 2017. This is said to be the first scooter in India to feature a BS-IV compliant engine. It is priced at Rs. 56,954/ (ex-showroom New Delhi) for the base model and Rs. 58,900 for the alloy drum brake variant and Rs. 61,362 for alloy disc brake variant. The new Activa is also the first scooter to feature AHO (Automatic Headlamps On) headlamps.
The new Activa 125 comes up with the new “Frontastic” looks with a combination of LED position lights and front chrome chest. It also bears a larger 3D Honda logo, which gives a premium looks to the scooter. The main feature of the new Activa is AHO, which improves the visibility in all terrains and conditions. Other than that, a mobile charging socket and retractable front hook is also used for more convenience.
The scooter is powered by Honda's trusted 125cc engine, which features Honda Eco Technology (HET), which produces maximum power of 8.52 bhp and peak torque of 10.54 Nm. The BS-IV engine reduces the emission levels and satisfies all the standards set by the government authorities.
