The all new Thunderbird 500 runs in a 500cc Unit Construction Engine (UCE) which is powered by enormous power of 27.2 Bhp @ 5250 rpm and a peak torque of 41.3 Nm @ 4000 rpm. The 5-speed transmission makes no further changes alike Royal Enfield's other models.
The Thunderbird 500 is blessed by a couple of light system, the new headlight with a 55w projector lamp for the low beam and a 55W halogen bulb for the high beam. It would end up the night visibility problem faced by many motorcycles.
Brake system used on it are manufactured by Bybre, a wholly owned subsidiary of Italian automotive brake manufacturing company, Brembo.
Upgraded prices such as 20 liters fuel tank, 55W projector headlamp and maintenance free battery are really headed to boast the Thunderbird 500.
Meanwhile, RE also upgraded the Thunderbird TS 350 based on the new model. It is priced at Rs. 1,43,336(On Road Mumbai). It will be available in Flicker Black and Twilight Black colors.
However, the time has to witness whether the all new Thunderbird 500 is overpriced or not.
