TVS Phoenix Launched at Rs.53000

India's 4th largest two wheeler manufacturer, TVS Motors launched the much awaited motorcycle, the Phoenix today in Chennai.



The Phoenix is priced at Rs. 53,000 (ex-showroom). The 125cc bike Phoenix will boost company's sale figures since it assures a mileage of 67 kmpl.



"We have developed an all new engine for this motorcycle. It complements several unique features to ensure premium ride quality. This launch will increase our market share in the segment. We are now present in economy, executive and premium segments of the motorcycle market," said TVS Motor Company Chairman, Venu Srinivasan.



TVS explains that the all new Phoenix, which is added to the premium executive category of the company, would be a good competitor for its rivals, Hero Super Splendour and Glamour , Bajaj Discover 125, and Honda CB Shine.

While unveiling the bike, TVS Motor Company Vice President Marketing, H. S. Goindi addressed the media "there was a lot of stresses that the consortium had to be met with while making a new product from papers. It's really a reward of our hard work and unity. Hopefully, it will bring good results for us."



Talking on its technical specifications, a well refined 125 cc engine is equipped with a 4 speed gearbox, which is capable to transmit a power of 11 PS @ 8000 rpm. It comes with an innovative technology, EcoThrust in order to minimize the usage of petrol injected without compromising the power.

For the first time in India, TVS Phoenix is featured with hazard lamps alike in cars to ensure maximum for the rider.
