Yamaha Launched Their R15 V 3.0 in India

Yamaha has officially rolled out their much-awaited model the new R15 V 3.0 this week. However, Yamaha has unveiled this model earlier this year at the 2018 Auto Expo in their pavilion. The model has been priced at Rs 1.25 lakhs (ex-showroom New Delhi) and delivery is to be commenced in the following weeks.



It is the third generation of Yamaha R15, which was launched back in 2008 as the first entry-level sports bike in India. This youngest member of the 'R' family is also considered as the basic tool for a track day.



Interestingly, this new R15 is more powerful, sportier and safer than the previous models. It gets a slew of advanced features and cosmetic updates. Aesthetically, this baby gets a bold new front face inspired by the mothership YZF-R1. From heat to tail the bike looks razor sharp and it has enhanced the aerodynamics of the motorcycle. Multi-functional full LCD instrument panel, twin LED headlamp and taillamp and wider rear tyres are some of the notable additions. Mechanically speaking, the old 155cc liquid-cooled engine gets a fine-tuning to generate 19.3 Ps of power and 15 Nm of torque. The bike also features a new super rigid deltabox frame, VVA system and slipper clutch as the technical additions. The new YZF-R15 V 3.0 is available in Racing Blue and Thunder Grey color options.
