The iconic British bike manufacturing brand Norton has officially entered the Indian market. Earlier this month at EICMA 2017, the brand officially signed terms with the Indian firm MotoRoyale for associating in the country.
Norton Motorcycles is planning to launch their first product in 2018, which will be available as CBU at the initial stage and later as CKD units. The models can be assembled at the Kinetic Engineering's manufacturing facility at Maharashtra. As we mentioned before, the company will launch Commando, which will be followed by Dominator by late 2018. Moreover, they are planning to establish India as a manufacturing hub for Central and South-East Asia.
Norton Motorcycles has to face tight competition from arch-rivals Triumph Motorcycles in the country.
