2018 Kawasaki Versys 650 Launched in India

After introducing the KRT version of Ninja 650, Kawasaki has moved towards their adventure touring department for some revamps. This time Versys 650 gets the much-expected update for the upcoming year. The 2018 Versys 650 gets the brand new skin.



Notable changes of the new Versys 650 includes new 17-inch wheels with longer-travel suspension, new adjustable windscreen, new cowling design, lightweight trellis frame and gear indicator option at the instrument console. Interestingly, Versys 650 is assembled at the Kawasaki facility in Chakan of Pune along with the Ninja 650 and 300. Therefore, it is available with an amazing pricetag of Rs 6.50 Lakhs.



It continues to draw the power from 649cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine delivering a maximum power of 69 Ps @ 8500 rpm and peak torque of 64 Nm @ 7500 rpm. The new Versys 650 comes mated with 6-speed manual transmission box.
