KTM is knowns for their performance bikes with no barriers, and now the company has come up with an all-new 790 Duke made from scratch with an all new L twin engine and chassis in the Milan motor show. KTM also has also showcased a 790 Adventure R Concept motorcycle at EICMA, showcasing the interest of the company to make adventure motorcycles in future.
This is very first that the KTM has showcased an inline twin: named as the LC8c in the 790 Duke . The new L-twin engine is built specially for torque and the liquid cooled 8 valve unit engine delivers a maximum torque of 86 Nm along with a maximum power of 105 hp. The new Duke 790 will give anyone an adrenaline push and make anyone conquer streets like no other.
A very precisely made chrome-molybdenum tubular frame forms the backbone of the 790 Duke. The suspension setup of the 790 Duke comes with WP upside-down Ø 43 mm at the front and a WP shock absorber with preload adjuster at the rear. The braking system comes with Four-piston radial fixed calliper at the front and a 2 piston caliper, brake disc at the rear. KTM has given Bosch 9MP two-channel ABS for the 790 Duke to give it ultimate stopping power and safety on high speeds. KTM has included very modern software and technologies to the 790 Duke like the ride-by-wire system, quick shifter, full-colour TFT dash, riding modes, traction control, track mode, motor slip regulation (MSR), and Supermoto mode to make the 790 Duke a very promising motorcycle.
