Surprise!!! Without any slightest of the hints, Ducati has unveiled a larger sibling of their Scrambler at the pre-EICMA press conference at the Milan. The new motorcycle will feature a beefier 1079cc L-Twin engine derived from the Monster 1100. The powertrain is expected to deliver a maximum power of 86 Bhp and peak torque of 88.4 Nm. Interestingly, this litre Scrambler is expected to provide a fierce challenge to other modern classics like Triumph Thruxton, BMW RnineT, Honda CB1100, Triumph Bonneville T120 and Yamaha SCR 950.

The Ducati Scrambler 1100 feature advanced technology package from BOSCH, which includes ABS, Cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control, Throttle-by-wire, three ride modes etc. Moreover, this model is available in three different variants like Scrambler 1100, Scrambler 1100 Special and Scrambler 1100 Sport. The 1079cc, L-Twin, Desmodromic engine acts as the powerhouse this machine. The power and torque delivery of all the three models are electronically adjusted to suit the demand and terrain on which it rides. Ducati may launch this model in India after showcasing it in the 2018 Auto Expo.
