The much popular Royal Enfield motorcycles have rolled out two new colour variants in their Classic 500 and Classic 350 editions. The best selling Classic 350 is now also available in the vibrant Gunmetal Grey while the Classic 500 is featured in Stealth Black. Both the models are priced at Rs 10,000 more than the regular trims. The Gunmetal Grey and Stealth Black is available at a pricing of Rs 1.59 and 2.05 lakh ( on-road Chennai pricing) respectively.
Apart from the change in colour, both the models feature rear disc brake and rear swingarm of the RE Thunderbird. Moreover, these changes are subjected only for these two new models. According to Royal Enfield, these two models will target the new-age riders who prefer an extra element of styling with adequate safety measures. With the introduction of a rear disc brake, the Royal Enfield has fulfilled the long term requirement by its fellow riders. However, there no changes made to the 350 and 500 engines. It continues to deliver the same power and torque ratios in the respective rev ranges.
According to the Royal Enfield, bookings for both the motorcycles will start from September 18 of 2017 and expected delivery to follow in the coming months.
The new Stealth Black and Gunmetal Grey is priced at Rs 2.05 & 1.59 lakhs respectively (on-road Chennai)
