Kawasaki has launched the 2017 edition of Z250 in India. This entry level sportsbike was launched back in 2015, but fails to sold a good volume of units here in the country. Now the Japanese makers has one again launched this model with the new BS-IV compliant engine. The 2017 Kawasaki Z250 is priced at Rs 3.09 lakhs (Delhi Ex-Showroom). This quarter-litre bike was launched alongside with 2017 Z1000 and Z1000 R.
Mechanically, nothing has changed from the earlier model. The same 249cc mill continues to deliver 32 PS of power and 21 Nm of torque, which is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike manages to produce the same performance figures even though it meets the latest emission norms. Like the other varinats, the Z250 is available in India as a CKD unit. In future, they might also introduce the Z300 in India.
