The American bike builder Harley Davidson has rolled out their new model Street Rod 750 on the company's Indian official website. This new motorcycle is based on the regular Street 750 platform, which is expected to be priced from Rs 50,000 to 75,000 more than this.
The all new Street Rod 750 sits on the same 749cc, High Output Revolution X, V-Twin engine found in the Street 750. But the engine delivers 18 percent more power and 8 percent of more torque rating than the older 750. This new mill delivers a peak torque of 62 Nm @ 4000 rpm.
Other technical inputs includes 43mm inverted front forks and new piggyback rear suspension with higher suspension travel for sportier rides. Stopping force of this motorcycle depends on disc brakes at both the ends with ABS as a standard feature. Unlike the 15-inch rear tyres of Street 750, this new model features 17-inch tyres at both the ends.
The Street Rod 750 shares many technical features with the regular Street 750, but gets many cosmetic changes from its base design structure. This new motorcycle is based on the Harley Davidson XR1200X model. The split seat design, rear panel, new fairing and drag style handlebars with bar-end mirrors are inspired from this particular model. Moreover, it features LED tail lights and turn indicators, a 3.5-inch electronic speedometer with trip meter and odometer is added in this motorcycle. The bike weighs around 229kg and measures 2130mm in length, making it as heavier and shorter than Street 750.
