As of the looks, the CB Hornet is quite an impressive premium commuter motorcycle that has come from Honda after a small gap. Claimed to be an inspiration of the Honda CX-01 concept, which was showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo, which was hosted in Delhi too. As the bike has stated some prominent motorcycle brand models to be rivaling with, the CB Hornet does have an impressive feature list. Starting from the digital instrument console to brakes redefined, every part of the bike has something new for those eagerly waiting riders. The bike is an amateurish sports bike, the foot rests of the rider is pushed a bit rear, which changes the riding posture, this is something unusual in this genre of bikes.

Powering this motorbike is a 162cc single cylinder air cooled engine, that produces 14.5hp at 8,000rpm and maximum torque of 14.61nm at 6,000rpm. HET(Honda Eco Technology) that reduces frictional losses and improves the fuel efficiency, is also carried out by the engine. The engine is fixed with a five speed gearbox, which moves with 1 push up and four tap down on the gear changing paddle, which is situated near the foot rest, for the rider to shift easy. Well that's actually standard, that all bikes occur to have. This new model of the Honda gets an attractive design, which is visible by the fuel tank look, a sleek exhaust, a decent sized tyre and an X shaped tail lamp. Suspension parts are the same, the telescopic front forks and mono shock unit at the rear.
As this bike already gained some fans at the venue, it wouldn't be hard for Honda India to do some aggressive sales in the Indian market. Prices haven't been revealed yet, the price is expected to be some reasonable 5 digit numbers.
