The Despatch variant from Royal Enfield does not get any new engine formats – it runs on the 500cc mill, the only attraction that makes it stand out is the unique camouflage given to the body of the motorcycle. RE claims that each motorcycle has been hand crafted using a peculiar film transfer technology wherein the camouflage design is directly embossed onto the bike's skin. Each bike gets a different design, and also gets unique badging too, signifying the model number, the Oragadam plant name and date of rolling out, among others. Few other changes include matte black paint job for the engine block, exhaust and silencer. Besides the launch of the limited edition models, Royal Enfield has also launched a unique set of clothing and accessory range based on the same, however, these will be available only at select showrooms. Two variants would be available on sale - Desert Storm Despatch and Squadron Blue Despatch.

Bookings would be thrown open by July 15th, 2015 and bookings can be made via Royal Enfield's website, and as we hear, all of these precious models have already been booked on the first day - within 26 minutes! Now, that's some motorcycle to get a hold of.
