Soon after launching the Ninja ZX-10R and the Ninja ZX-14R, once again Kawasaki has hit the Indian market with a couple of liter class motorcycles – Ninja 1000 and Z1000. Both the super hot chicks are priced at Rs. 12.5 lakhs (ex-showroom Pune). The machines will be available in the country via Completely Built Units (CBU) models. So expect a massive on-road price.
Both the Ninja 1000 and the Z1000 are powered by the same 1043cc, Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke In-Line Four, DOHC, 16 valves engine delivering a peak power of 101.5 kW @ 9,600 rpm and a peak torque of 110 N-m @ 7,800 rpm. The heart is mated to a 6-speed transmission.
The two motorcycles will be featuring optional ABS technology. The all new KTRC Traction Control system features three different modes to ensure best in class performance and confidence to the rider. Fully adjustable inverted fork for better and comfortable rides. Newly designed Analog-digital instrument cluster included of tachometer, speedometer, time, trip meter and many stuffs needed in a high-end super sport motorcycle.
Selectable Power Modes system which allows to enable to opt the suitable power mode for the rider. Here you can use the full power and half power of the machine. One-piece “monobloc” radial-mount front brake calipers are the next highlight of the new motorcycles which offer better braking and stability.
The bookings are already open today through Bajaj Probiking Showrooms and the delivery will take place through the same outlets as well.
