The all new 2014 R 1200GS is powered by an 1170cc, air/oil-cooled flat twin ('Boxer'), 4-stroke engine. Along with the heart alteration, the bike gets big modification works on its body. Now the machine looks more muscular.

Heavier flywheel, 20 mm longer spring travel, 10 mm more ground clearance, better geometry for better handling, 30 liter fuel tank, standard ABS, ASC, and two riding modes, optional 3 modes, tilt-adjustable bench seat, optional semi-active suspension Dynamic ESA (Electronic Suspension Adjustment), large and adjustable windshield and air flaps, bettered foot operated levers, robust engine and tank protection bar and above all a garage of accessories make the 2014 machine the best in the class.

However, more specifications are yet to be revealed. And we need to be patient for a little more while to get a clear picture of the 2014 BMW R 1200GS.
