The biggest hit of French automobile manufacturer, Renault, in India, the Duster gets its new face. Renault revealed the facelifted SUV just a week before the Frankfurt Motor Show in which the firm officially introduce the all new 2014 Dacia Duster to the world.
The new vehicle got daytime running LED lights, while the front is now with two chrome-plated bars attached with lower-set air intake tipped with silver finished scuff plate. The machine rolls on new 16-inch, dark metal 5-spoke alloy wheels. You can see Duster logos on the roof bars, which embroiders more sportiness to the compact SUV. The company has also strengthened the 4x4 variant of it.
"We built on the appeal of the original model and its proportions. Identity components such as the grille have been modernized. We have also strengthened the 4Ã-4 cues of the vehicle, while keeping all its useful features. New Duster gets an even stronger character while retaining its initial DNA," said Mr. David Durand, Head of Styling for the Entry range at Dacia.
Except these alterations, the 2014 edition will be powered by the same engines those power the current petrol and diesel models. The newly designed Duster is expected to launch in India in 2014. However, there is no hint yet regarding the launch of 4x4 variant in the country.
Will be officially launched at Frankfurt Motor Show which starts on September, 2013.
