Yamaha Fazer FI V2

The Fazer FI like all Fazers gets a very aerodynamic shape and style to make highway touring a very comfortable experience. The new Fazer FI has got all the characteristics and style of the global Fazer marketed by Yamaha. It has a distinct appeal and looks and sports inspired front faring design that's been inspired by the Yamaha R series of sports bikes.



Engine

The Fazer FI shares the same Air-cooled 4-stroke, SOHC, single-cylinder fuel-injected 149.00 cc engine which produces a maximum power of 13.1PS @ 8000rpm and a 12.8Nm torque @ 6000rpm. The bike uses a TCI (Transistor controlled ignition) as its Ignition system and uses a Constant mesh 5-speed for its Transmission system.



Yamaha has tuned the engine to provide maximum power at all gears and also tweaked the Engine Control Unit to give out maximum fuel efficiency without affecting performance.



Chassis, Suspension & Braking

The Fazer FI uses a Diamond type chassis and comes with a Telescopic suspension at the front and a Swingarm at the rear. The braking system comes with the conventional drum braking system at the rear and disc brakes at the front. The suspension setup ensures that highway riding as well as uneven terrains a simple affair for the new Fazer. Yamaha has also given big tyres to make the Fazer take on hard terrains and sharp corners with maximum agility.

The Fazer FI is a good motorcycle that has the capacity to take highway rids and occasional rides very easily. The front cowl of this bike is very aerodynamical and gives it more edge while cruising the highways and streets with maximum comfort.
