The Commando Classic is the flagship model of UM Motorcycles in India. It was launched alongside the Commando Mojave featuring the same 279.5cc, single cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled engine delivering a maximum power of 24.80 bhp and peak torque of 23 Nm. It is available as a CKD unit, which is assembled at the UM Lohia facility in Uttarakhand. The mill is mated to 6-speed synchronous mesh overdrive transmission box for optimum power delivery. The bike gets a large windshield, saddle bag and split seats.

First Impression Review
The Renegade Commando Classic is the flagship model of UM Motorcycles. This American born cruiser bike bears all the fundamental elements of a classic cruiser. The bike features a lot of attention seeking elements to rival the market frontiers such as Royal Enfield Thunderbird and Bajaj Avenger.
The Engine and Performance
The Renegade Classic offers a terrific performance and comfortable ride with the brand new 279.5cc, 4-stroke, liquid cooled engine mated with 6-speed synchronous mesh overdrive gearbox. The mill delivers a maximum power of 25 bhp @ 8500 rpm and peak torque of 23 Nm @ 7000 rpm. Moreover, it offers smooth and seamless riding condition even at high speeds.
Design and Features
Unlike other UM models, the Renegade Classic looks like a perfect cruiser bike. It gets a wide range of cosmetic outfits to enhance its cruiser styling. The bike features high-quality 45+ micron rich gloss chrome covering on the silencer. This premium stainless-steel chrome represents power and strength of this bike. Like every cruiser motorcycle, this one too gets well-cushioned split seats with first-grade aluminium cast backrest for its pillion offering unmatched passenger comfort. Other additions include high raised windshield and premium saddle bag with dual zippers and come mounted on a sturdy metal bracket.
Brakes and Suspension
The Renegade Commando Classic gets 41 mm, telescopic hydraulic brakes at the front and twin hydraulic shocks with spring at the rear. The braking duties of the bike have been managed by 280 mm disc with 2 piston calipers at the front and 130 mm drum brake at the rear. This bike measures 2257 mm in length and 780 mm wider and weighing around 179 kg.

The Commando Classic is the fourth and latest iteration of the Renegade range of motorcycles in India. With the launch of Classic, UM eyes the much popular cruiser market of the Bajaj Avenger.
