By Sameer on 03-09-2015
hi from nepal i have this bike, bought 3 month back.
milage is 35-40 in city, minimum 45 while crusing.
why i bought? basically the way it looks(different then what we have seen so far in this price on market(1.2lakh IC) and the name it has got commando, which it suits perfectly.
pros:
1)the colour quality(texture, shine) is like of those you find in expensive cruiser(i have negro mate, its low sine(leather finish) colour gives a bold, strong, rough and tough, look not like exaggeratedly shiny party costume type, scratch prone, short staying crome shine).
2)perfect handling even within the city-why? given by its relatively light weight and perfect power and weight combination it gives good pick up and easy handling in twisty road, it looks heavy at the same time though.
3)features you hardly imagine in royal enfield(recycle iron piece, i compare like nokia vs iphone) eg:360degree light for cruising at night, mobile charger, bluetooth helmet compatibility, blind spot mirros, service indicator, bike safety feature with those blinking light on speedometer tells you about when it was touch last time.
4) built quality: mud guard are not a plastic crap or rust prone iron either, its made from almunium alloy. seat from UM gel, handle bar and speedometer gives you a premium feel.
5)those eyes from the lady: people cant keep eyes off from you no matter how bad you look. you definitely stand out in a indian crowd(ciz it looks expensive then it actually is)
6)light weight but not light frame so no engine vibrations
cons:
1)wheel frame should have made from alloy rather from those spokes
2)suspension are quite hard
3)too large in dimension for one who is thin and short(looks tiny man riding other bike) or tall(6ft above). better gain some weight.
note:
1)no idea about parts availability as i have not got any issue.
2)learn how to maintain bikes as a precaution, since its a relatively new company and american based company, local mechanic may damage your piece.
3)tire is tube less.
4) i am not a royal endfield hater but those words describe it best infront of commondo.
any queries please dont hesitate

The Renegade Commando is looking like nice bike to ride in our Indian roads n its meilage too low bt it has 223cc engine capacity. So we should adjust. N I want to know its top speed.
