TVS Dazz was initially showcased at 2014 Auto Expo. It is an automatic scooter with larger tyres and stance of a motorbike. After two years, at the 2016 Auto Expo, TVS again displayed this scooter with fuel injection and called it as Dazz DFi. Both these models are already available in the Indonesian market.

The Dazz DFi features a new advanced engine with Digitech Technology that is powered by Digital Fuel Injection Logic. It gets the 109.65cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke with SOHC capable of delivering a maximum power of 8.7 bhp and 8.7 Nm. The engine is mated to CVT Automatic gearbox for power transmission. It also gets 12V, 3.5 Ah battery with inbuilt plug-in mobile charger as a user-friendly feature. Other features are 5.1 litre fuel tank, telescopic fork and rear suspension with single shock absorber and tubeless tyres at both the ends.

I am eagerly waiting for this amazing scooter because of its big wheels which is its biggest advantage with disc brake attached at front. There are pockets at front & below the seat with hooks attached for carrying. Its light weight will increase the mileage. Ample space near foot rest & pockets allows plenty of storage. This type of design reminds us of Bajaj M80 which was the highest sold vehicle in India. Its front suspensions will give extra comfort like bike & if introduced, then the sale of scooties will decrease considerably which is an alarming factor for the manufacturer itself.

It has been written above that Dazz is already available in the Indonesian market. The scooter's design resembles other scooters usually seen in Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia and other southeast Asian markets. Does this mean TVS designed this scooter for these markets? Won't this model be launched in India?
