First Impression Review
The F3 800 is a real package of pure adrenaline fun concealed in a simple yet ferocious package. The F3 800 has the ultimate exhilaration of a 1000 cc bike, and the superior handling of a 600. The enormous torque of a twin, and the superior acceleration of a four-cylinder. The MV Agusta F3 800 pushes back the performance barriers with its Italian-made 3-cylinder engine excellence.
MV Augusta has attained a new level of engineering marvel with the advanced electronics package and a new 800 cc engine that explodes out a maximum of 148 hp and 88 Nm of torque. The superlight weightedness of the bike at 173 kg, which resulted in a power-to-weight ratio puts the F3 800 into a position that does a mindblowing battle with litre-class Sportbikes and redefined what a mid-weight Supersport concept can offer up with a perfectly tuned engine and well-balanced chassis structure.
The F3 800 has an ALS Steel tubular trellis frame. The suspension duties of the bike are done with Marzocchi “UPSIDE DOWN” telescopic hydraulic fork with rebound-compression damping and spring preload external and separate adjustment while the rear suspension duties are done with Progressive Sachs, single shock absorber with rebound and compression damping and spring preload adjustment and a single sided swing arm material made of Aluminium alloy.
The braking systems of the bike come with Brembo monobloc callipers at the front while the rear brakes are Brembo with 2 pistons callipers. MV Augusta has given Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa tyres for the F3 800. The overall weight of the bike is just 173 kg.
