Moto Guzzi is one of the greatest brands in motorcycling world. This Italian bike makers have been producing motorcycles that are often ahead of their time. MGX-21 Flying Fortress is the most unconventional, rich and technological 1400 cc grand cruiser, built at Mandello del Lario, Italy is their latest example of their heritage. Launched in 2016, it is one of the amazing motorcycle from Moto Guzzi line ups.

The powerful 1400 cc engine produces 96.6 bhp power and 121 Nm of peak torque. The engineers of Moto Guzzi has managed to provide aerodynamics by employing batwing fairing, which wraps around handlebars and the sporty plexiglass flyscreen. It also uses carbon fibre underseat panels for standout appeal. We can see the carbon fibre presence in fuel tank cover to the rear paneling works.

Comfortable and ergonomically organized main seat design ensures maximum comfort for riders of different statures. The forged aluminium wide handlebar offers a commanding riding position. The MGX-21 is also studded with electronic features like ABS, Traction control, a dedicated infotainment system and engine maps make it even the best cruiser in town. The red engine head protector and Brembo calipers in the full black carbon fibre body gives a distinctive looks to this fat cruiser, unlike any other cruisers or custom built motorcycles we have seen.

An experimental; 21 engraved in the name tells about the year the first motorcycle came out of the Mandello del Lario factory.

The enormous power and maximum torque of 121 Nm pumping out from the masculine Big Block engine shine through the entire motorcycle and it pushes the rider forward with a relentless grunt at revs which leave others standing.Guzzi has given state-of-the-art electronic management with the ride-by-wire throttle, selectable power maps and evolved traction control to keep everything in check. The MGX-21 is a very fun motorcycle to ride with its Cruise Control System.

Moto Guzzi has included riding modes which make distinct riding pleasure on each modes that suit the needs of the rider. The riding modes; VELOCE that exploits all the available power and torque with an output that favours performance and response with every twist of the throttle. TURISMO; which provides a smoother power distribution for smoother riding on a long trip and lastly, the PIOGGIA which is set to a map suited for low grip conditions, decreasing the torque and engine brake management.

Moto Guzzi MGX-21 is also fitted with two-channel ABS and an advanced (and patented) traction control system that can be adjusted to three different settings (that can also be disabled). The frame of the bike is made up of ALS steel twin tube cradle and the rigid frame makes it very strong and stable at higher speeds and corners. The suspension setup of the bike is done with Hydraulic telescopic fork, Ø 1.76 in (44.8 mm) with mounting for radial callipers brakes while the rear is done suspension is done with Stainless steel floating disc Ø 11.10 ( 282 mm ), two-piston callipers. The front brakes are Double stainless steel floating disc Ø 12.60 in ( 320 mm ) clamps radial 4- piston opposed while the rear brakes stainless steel floating disc Ø 11.10 ( 282 mm ), two-piston callipers. The MGX-21 has a very big fuel tank of 20.5 litres and this ensures a very big riding range. The overall weight of the bike is 341 Kg.
