Centuro is the best selling commuter of Mahindra 2 Wheelers and Centuro NXT is the upgraded and much refined version of the same model. The base model Centuro was launched back in 2013, which wasn't a commercial hit for Mahindra. The NXT variant is introduced to change some fortunes for the Indian motorcycle company.
Centuro NXT is a feature studded bike. It has an anti-theft alarm with an inbuilt engine immobilizer, one-of-a kind find me lamps to identify the bike in a crowd, digital dashboard with service reminder and econometer, innovative guide lamps that works for sometime even after we switched off the ignition, a remote flip-key and most importantly the new intelligent MCi-5 engine. Apart from this, the iconic golden ribs wrap around Centuro's fuel tank stands for the toughness of the Mahindra.
The technical specification of the motorcycle is much same with other variants. The same 106.7cc, single cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled engine powers the vehicle. This mill churns out 8.5 PS of maximum power @ 7500 rpm and a peak torque of 8.5 Nm @ 5500 rpm. Engine is then mated with a 4-speed constant mesh gearbox. The main chassis of this bike is built with a double cradle steel tubular structure. The suspension and braking of the vehicle is similar with other Centuro's.
The headlamp features halogen lights with LED pilot lamps and tail lamp uses LED lighting. NXT have a top speed of 92kmph which is quiet outstanding. Not only that, the bike offers an outstanding mileage of 85 to 80 kmpl.
Mahindra has stopped the production of its motorcycle Centuro NXT and hence the given price is not relevant.
