The Scout Bobber is the latest addition from the Indian Motorcycle to the Scout clan unveiled globally in 2017. The makers had come up with a minimalistic yet aggressive styling to the Bobber. The main attraction of this Scout is the new carved tear-drop fuel tank wearing the new bold "INDIAN" badge and the bobber styled chopped fenders. Other outfits are drop down bar-end mirrors, slotted twin exhaust, single leather saddle and a low slung riding profile. It is available in five different shades such as Bronze Smoke, Indian Motorcycle Red, Star Silver Smoke, Thunder Black, and Thunder Black Smoke.
The Bobber derives the maximum power of 100 bhp and top torque of 97.7 Nm from the massive 1132cc, liquid-cooled V-Twin engine. The engine gets an advanced closed loop fuel injection system and 6-speed gearbox. The brand also features a wide range of accessories like passenger seat, slip-on exhaust and bobber saddle bag.
A Bobber is a motorcycle stripped down to form only the essentials. A minimalistic design, aggressive and engine and frame revealing looks are one of the characteristics of a Bobber. Inspired from this iconic making, Indian motorcycles had developed a very aggressive and stylish Scout Bobber to its clan of motorcycles.
This motorcycle is wedded with the retro styling of the past and the modern technologies of the present. The Indian has given Digital tachometer, odometer, trip meter, engine temp, and low fuel lamp, speedometer and indicator lights for the Scout Bobber to assist the rider in every ride.
A tear-drop fuel tank engraved with "INDIAN" badge, chopped fenders, bar-end mirrors, twin exhaust, well-padded leather seat and a typical cruiser riding profile makes the Scout Bobber a very stylish motorcycles with good character.
A Liquid-Cooled V-Twin gives life to the Scout Bobber and powers up with a maximum peak power of 100 bhp and a peak torque of 97.7 Nm @ 6000 rpm. The engine is sealed with a 6-speed gearbox and uses Closed loop fuel injection / 60 mm boreas its Electronic Fuel Injection System. The exhaust system of the bike is a Split Dual Exhaust w/ Crossover
The suspension setup of the bike is done with Telescopic Fork/4.7" (120 mm) - Cartridge Type at the front and a Dual Shocks/2.0" (50 mm) at the rear. The ground clearance of this motorcycle is 123 mm. The Scout Bobber has an overall weight of 242 kg.
