Yezdi Monarch is not in production now.
Yezdi Monarch sits on a 250cc engine developed by Ideal Jawa India Ltd. Like all other 2-stroke motorcycles this one also uses a kick start for starting the engine. This 2-stroke, single cylinder, air-cooled engine is capable of delivering 2.43 kgm of maximum torque @ 4250 rpm.
This model features the engine of Yezdi Classic in Yezdi 175 chassis. And this can be also consider as the upgraded version of Yezdi 175, which targets young riders. The long and beefier seats provide much comfort for the rider and the pillion.
Monarch weighs around 136 kg and with a wheelbase of 1370 mm it is one large motorcycle. The ground clearance of this motorcycle is said to be 180 mm. Top speed of this particular motorcycle is 120 kmph.
A twin cam double leading shoe and a single cam leading shoe at the front and rear respectively deals with the stopping force of Monarch. Meanwhile, telescopic forks with hydraulic shock absorbers at the front and a sole hydraulic shock absorber at the rear deals with suspension of this bike.
