Precisely a new motorcycle era has been established with the introduction of CTX series by world class motorcycle builder, Honda Motor Company. While Honda brings the new two wheeler tag CTX, there is even more to cherish for the motorcycle enthusiasts. The term CTX stands for 'Comfort Technology eXperience'. The CTX700 is the elder machine to its sibling, the CTX700N. Wedded with stylish cowls and front body kits, the CTX700 becomes a new experience to eyes.

The bike reflects somewhat of the flagship motorcycle of Honda, the Goldwing. To truly define the term CXT, Honda has provided the features of both cruiser and a sportbike. So adding a comfortable experience combined with latest technology, the bike must be scribed as a crossover of a super bike and a highway cruiser.

The CTX700 is mated with a 670cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin, SOHC; four valves per cylinder engine. Being crossed with a 6 speed transmission, the motor-machine excels in highway roads. Now the long drives are more easier and stress-free like never before. Honda has taken care to increase the comfort levels of both rider and the pillion passenger. Thanks to the 41mm fork, 4.2 inches travel front suspension and the Pro-Link single shock, 4.3 inches travel rear suspension. Honda never compromise on safety measurements. Though it's a mid-range cruiser cum sport machine, the company offers ABS as optional. For standard variant, Single 320mm disc brake with two-piston caliper at front and Single 240mm disc brake with single-piston caliper at rear are installed.

Along with the ABS, the bike is also equipped with DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) in the optional CTX700 DCT ABS version. By which gears are automatically transmitted in the automatic mode. The rider can also shift gears with a push on handlebar-mounted button. Moreover, Honda must be applauded for an impressive price tag.
