Hero Splendor Pro

The Splendor Pro is a commuter bike that matches the usability and purpose of the normal Indian. Hero has updated the bike with new look and style and the bike now showcase magnificent looks, attractive new colours, and premium graphics to mee the demands of the customers. Hero has given a Sporty Windshield Visor to the new Soendlor Pro that comes matches with the Powerful Headlamps, which ensures good visibility at night. The redesigned headlamps make the bike look more stylish and trendy.

Hewro has carefully redesigned the instrument cluster to give all the necessary information required for the rider in a very simple and minimalistic way. The Cluster has a very detailed set of colourful icons. The light indicators are given on the left side with the odometer on the centre. The fuel gauge is positioned at the right end, this arrangement prevents any confusion and ensures more readability in all lighting conditions.



Engine

The Splendor Pro uses an Air cooled, 4 - stroke single cylinder OHC engine with a capacity of 97.2 cc. This small engine produces a power of 8.36 Ps @8000 rpm and an 8.05 N-m torque @5000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 4 Speed constant mesh and uses a Side Draft, Variable Venturi Type with TCIS type carburettor and has Kick / Self Start ignition.



Hero has done a good job at making the engine more reliable and maintenance free along with best in class mileage of 90kmpl. The engine is tuned to give out enough power at all speeds, and the bike is very responsive at slower speeds, this gives it an edge while moving through hefty traffic and congested roads very easily.

Chassis, Suspension & Braking

The Splendor Pro comes with a Tubular Double Cradle Type Chassis, and this holds the bike together. The suspension works are done with Telescopic Hydraulic Shock Absorbers at the front and a Swing Arm with 5 step Adjustable Hydraulic Shock Absorbers at the rear. The suspension set up of this bike is made to make occasional commuting and daily ride easier. The Splendor Pro manages to make city life easier and with the addition of 130 mm Internal expanding shoe type brakes at the front and an Internal expanding shoe type (110 mm) at the rear, this bike is nimble to use around cities and towns.
