Hero Dash is an 110cc premium scooter from Hero MotoCorp, which is considered as the substitute fro Maestro Edge in countries like Nepal and Sri Lanka. This scooter was unveiled at 2014 Auto Expo and later, the upgraded version was again showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo.
Like the Indian Maestro it too is filled with features and technology. An array of advanced features like anti-theft immobilizer system, AHO headlamps, digital-analog combo instrument console, external fuel lid, mobile charging socket, boot light and service due indicator display system.
From the first Hero Dash, the upgraded version uses 6 new paint jobs with newer graphics. Two-tone painting and edgy sharp lines along the body resembles a motorsports art work. Red-lines on the black alloy wheels are also a part of new design scheme. Apart from these features; integrated braking system and titanium muffler covers are also used.
The Dash is powered by 110.9cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke engine, which delivers a maximum power of 8.43 Ps @ 8000 rpm and a peak torque of 8.30 Nm @ 6000 rpm. Front suspension system features a telescopic, hydraulic shock absorbers and rear features unit swing with spring loaded hydraulic damper.
Moreover, Hero plans to launch this scooter in mid 2017.
