First Impression Review
The Panigale V4 S is an addition to the Ducati's prestigious sports bike lineup. The Panigale V4 S sits between the standard equipment Panigale V4 and the Panigale V4 Speciale. The V4 is a revolution and the Panigale V4 is the mass production replacing the iconic 1299 by enhancing performance and ridability. The power delivery of the V4 S is so focused that, riders of all skill levels can enjoy unlimited fun and excitement.
The main difference that differs the Panigale V4S and the standard equipment is the suspension setup, where the V4 S comes with an Ohlins NIX30 43mm fully adjustable fork at the front while the rear suspension gets an Ohlins TTX36 unit. The minor difference can also be spotted on the wheels, where the standard equipment gets a 5-spoke wheel alloy while the V4 S gets a 3-spoke wheel alloy system.
The mechanical section remains the same and the Panigale V4 S comes with the same 1103cc Desmosedici Stradale 90° V4, rearward-rotating crankshaft, 4 Desmodromically actuated valves per cylinder, liquid-cooled. The engine produces a maximum power of 214 Bhp @ 13000 rpm and a maximum torque of 124 Nm @ 10000 rpm. The front tyres of the bike come with Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP 120/70 ZR17 while the rear tyres are Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP 200/60 ZR17. The overall weight of the motorcycle is 195 kg.
