BMW HP4 RACE

When it comes to setting up different paths, BMW has some cards in its sleeves, like the first adventure motorcycle ever made in the world, the R1200 GS and now the HP4 RACE, the first motorcycle in the world to be built up entirely on a carbon frame and carbon wheels. The HP4 Race got all the essential components to be a champ on two wheels. The newly developed HP4 Race is a killer machine with the ultimate power of 215 hp (158 kW) deriving from the 999.00 cc in-line engine 4-cylinder at 13,900 rpm. The torque produced by the bike stands at 120 Nm at 10,000 rpm.



The mixing and engine management is done with Electronic racing injection with four selectable modes. BMW has given Akrapovic full titanium 4 in 2 in 1 WSBK exhaust system to the HP4 Race to make it growl with power like no other machine in the same segment.



One of the most interesting thing about the HP4 Race is a Carbon monocoque RTM frame. The suspension setup of the bike is one with Öhlins FGR 300 WSBK fork at the front while the rear suspension setup comes with Aluminum WSBK swing arm, Öhlins TTX 36 GP central spring strut.



The braking system of the bike is done with Dual 310 mm floating discs, Brembo M50 4-piston radial monobloc calipers with switchable ABS at the front while the rear braking system is done with 220 mm Single Brembo Racing single-disc brakes. the overall weight of the HP4 Race is 146 kg.
