Bajaj introduced V15 as their first motorcycle under their new clan 'V'. These set of motorcycles are made from the scrapped metal parts of legendary warship INS Vikrant of Indian Navy. V15 was officially launched in 2016 February, powered by the Bajaj's own 150cc DTS-i engine. The new motorcycle under this badge is the V12, powered by a bit lighter 125cc engine.

The fuel tank of V12 is built using the metals from INS Vikrant. The shape of this fuel tank is unique and different from other Bajaj models with a frontal mass look. Very stylish, a bold masculine graphics makes the fuel tank even more attractive. Bajaj has imposed a new frontal fascia for V motorcycles with a powerful headlamp. It uses a premium textured seats and this particular motorcycle can be converted from single seater to a pillion ride, under a minute by removing the rear seat cowl. The all new classic LED tail lamp is the other highlight of this bike. Premium instrument console with LED colors, wider rear tyres and large exhaust kits are other highlighted features of this bike.

Powered by a single cylinder 124.5cc, DTS-i engine, it is capable of delivering 10.80 bhp power and 10.80 Nm torque. It is then mated with a 5-speed gearbox for optimum power transfer. Braking system consists of 130mm drum brakes at both the ends and a telescopic fork at the front and hydraulic shock shock absorber at the rear deals with suspension duties.

The disc brake variant of the V12 has launched along with two new paint schemes like White On Red and orange On Black. It costs INR 3000 more to the disc variant form the drum brake model.

Bajaj V12

The Bajaj launched the V12 after the success of the first launched V15 in India. The V Clans comes with a unique and bold looking design and shapes that give it a powerful look and stance. The V clans were also famous for its fuel tank exclusively made with the scraps of metals from the decommissioned warship of India, INS Vikrant. Bajaj has done some neat and bold graphics to give a bold and masculine look to this motorcycle. The bike comes with a powerful headlamp along with a stylish front fascia. The fines lines on the bodywork give it a unique look and the specially designed tail light commence the appearance of a Bajaj V from a distance.

The Bajaj V12 has a 124.5 Single cylinder, 4 strokes, SOHC 2 valve, Air cooled, DTS-i engine. The mill produces a maximum power of 10.7 @ 7500 and a peak torque of 10.7 @ 7500. Bajaj has made some tweaks to the small engine to make it a daily runner. The new engine is very refined to give out smooth performance and mileage at the same time. The suspension setup of the V12 comes with Telescopic suspension at the front and a Gas filled Twin shocks, Nitrox shock absorber at the rear. The shock absorber at the rear ensures good comfort combine with the soft padded seat. The pillion seat of the V can be detached to make it a one seater bike.

Bajaj has given 130 mm Drum brakes at the front and rear, while the V15 has a 240 mm Disc at the front when compared to the drum braking of the V12. This stylish bike from Bajaj has a ground clearance of 165mm and stands on an overall weight of 133 kg. The Bajaj V12 is very light in weight and this makes it easy for beginners and veterans to ride it with maximum comfort and safety.
