One of the best selling 150 motorcycles in India, the Pulsar 150. It is successor of the first generation bike which was launched as the Pulsar (round headlight) in 2001. in 2003, the Pulsar was fused with DTS-i technology and got increased both power and fuel efficiency. Again in 2005, Bajaj gave some alterations to the bike and increased the power. Then the fourth generation Pulsar was introduced with new appearance in 2009. The latest upgrade took place in 2011.
The Pulsar 150 comes with a 149.1cc, 4-stroke, DTS-i, air cooled, single cylinder engine. It is capable to deliver 15.06 PS of power @ 9000 rpm and 12.5 Nm of torque @ 6500 rpm. It is coupled with a 5 speed transmission.
Bajaj has stopped the production of its motorcycle Pulsar 150 DTSi and hence the given price is not relevant.

The Pulsar 150 DTSi is the updated successor of the widely successful first generation Pulsar that gave Bajaj firm grip on the automobile industry. Bajaj has made many changes and updates the old variant to make it a very modern machine that serves best for the customers. The inclusion of DTS-i technology and which enhanced the power and fuel range of the bike has made it a huge success in the Indian market.
When it comes to the styling of the new Pulsar 150 comes with aggressive laser edged graphics. The carbon fibre accents, instrument cluster graphics and the wolf-eyed headlamp with twin pilot lamps gives a distinct male look to the bike. The new Pulsar has fine lines and shapes to be a very decent looking bike on streets and roads.
Engine
The Pulsar 150 is wedded with a 149.1cc, 4-stroke, DTS-i, air cooled, single cylinder engine. The mill produces a maximum power of 14 bhp @ 8000 and 13.4 Nm torque @ 6000. The engine comes with a conventional 5-speed transmission gearbox. Bajaj has made the engine to be very refined and fuel efficient than the older models.
Chassis, Suspension and Braking
The suspension duties of the Pulsar 150 is done with Telescopic, with anti-friction bush at the front and a 5 way adjustable, and a Nitrox shock absorber as the rear suspension. The braking system of the bike is done with 240 mm Disc brakes at the front and a 130 mm Drum brakes at the rear. The Ground Clearance of the bike is 165 mm. The overall weight of the bike is 143 kg.
Conclusion
The Pulsar 150 DTSi is a very decent bike that is very low on maintenance and increased fuel efficiency. Bajaj has done a very good job at making the bike very friendly and economical at the same time. The DTSi technology and the new styling and graphics make it the best commuter bike for city rides as well as occasional highway rides.

Pulsar is very good. but only one issue. if we go to pay insurence that time bike price approx 45,000.
