Guys. Dont be fooled about the claimed mileage by the company. The mileage given is the fuel economy under standard test conditions. That means the motorcycle will be run in a constand speed in a road without any pot holes and humps. That is far from the reality of Indian road conditions. I think we will get only around 60 to 80 kmpl in our roads.

I am telling you because lots of people will get disappointed after buying the motorbike thinking that they can use the bike at 60 paise per kilometer.

CT 100 used to give a good mileage of around 80 plus. There is no doubt that Bajaj is capable of manufacturing vehicles with good mileage. The only concern is the build quality. The cast iron looks promising. Royal Enfield stopped producing cast iron engine and Bajaj started producing cast iron engine :)

Mileage is unbelievable. Bajaj says it is a record. But what about the old Bajaj CT 100. During its launch the company had claimed a mileage of 100 km per litre. Does that mean they were lying then.
