Launched in India in 2016. Shiver 900 is not in production now.
Aprilia introduced their model Shiver in 2007 on a 750cc engine. This middle-weight naked sportsbike couldn’t gain the much attention as expected. The much improved, more powered Shiver 900 was launched at EICMA in 2016.
This Shiver is powered by a 896cc, 90-degree, V-Twin engine, which could deliver a maximum power of 95.2 bhp and a peak torque of 90 Nm. The figures are similar to the new Dorso 900. Shiver uses a Mareli 7SM ECU, which controls the operations like, traction control and ride-by-wire technology. A modular steel frame protects the engine by fastening it with high strength bolts to aluminium plates. It features a 4.3-inch TFT touch display enables Aprilia Multimedia Platform that helps in connecting app on your smartphone. It displays all the relevant information and also acts as an intercom and music files can be even played. Other cosmetic components include new front fender, fuel tank covers and rear fender.
The suspension side of this bike features a 41mm Kayaba fork with preload adjustability with a wheel travel of 120 mm at the front and a hydraulic shock absorber with adjustable extension with a wheel travel of 130mm at the rear.
