Aprilia Caponord 1200 ABS

The Aprilia Caponord 1200 ABS is one of the best tourers Aprilia has in its clan of motorcycles. The Caponord 1200 ABS has 1197.00 cc four-stroke longitudinal 90° V-twin, liquid cooled engine. The engine produces a maximum power of 130 bhp @ 8,700 rpm and a maximum torque of 115 Nm at 7,200 rpm. The engine uses an Integrated engine management system, Injection system with triple map Ride by Wire throttle management: Sport (S), Touring (T), Rain (R). The different riding modes help to make motorcycle touring a very pleasurable affair.



The Frame of the Caponord 1200 ABS comes with Modular tubular steel frame fastened to aluminium side plates by high strength bolts and has a removable rear aluminium subframe. The suspension setup of the Caponord 1200 ABS has a 43 mm Sachs upside-down front fork with fully adjustable compression and rebound damping and spring preload at the front with a wheel travel of 160 mm. While the rear suspension of the bike comes with Aluminium alloy swingarm Piggy-back design Sachs hydraulic shock absorber with fully adjustable compression and rebound damping and spring preload with a wheel travel of 155 mm.



The Front Brake of the Caponord 1200 ABS comes with a Dual Æ 320 mm stainless steel floating discs. Brembo four-piston radial callipers and the rear brake of this bike comes with 240 mm stainless steel disc with Single piston Brembo callipers. The fuel capacity of the Aprilia Caponord 1200 ABS come with 15 litres where 3.5 litre is its reserved capacity.
