HAI SIR,MY NAME IS VENKAT FROM VIZAG.IAM PLANNING TO BUY A NEW GEARLESS SCOOTER FOR MYSELF THOUGH IM JST 29 YRS OLD IAM VEXED OF DRIVING GEAR BIKES ON THE CITY ROADS.SO IAM REALLY REALLY CONFUSED WHICH ONE TO BUY (HONDA ACTIVA DLX(with HET) vs HERO MAESTRO)AS HONDA HAS LAUNCHED THIS NEW VARIANT WITH A PROMISING MILEAGE OF 55-58 ON CITY ROADS WITH A PRICE TAG OF 63K.IAM TEMPTED WITH IT,AT THE SAME TIME IAM CONFUSED WITH THE LOOKS AND SMOOTHNESS OF MAESTRO WHICH IS OFFERING 45-50KMPL ON CITY ROADS WITH A PRICE OF 60K.I DID TEST RIDE ON BOTH THE VEHICLES AND MY OBSERVATION IS ACTIVA HAS GOT MORE PICK UP THAN MAESTRO,BUT IT TOO HAS GOT A VERY SMOOTH RIDE ON THE HIGHWAY OR CITY.HENCE,I REQUEST YOU TO SUGGEST ME ON THIS ASAP,SO THT I CAN GO FOR RIDE ON MY NEW VEHICLE.THANK YOU.

Both Activa and Maestro are good scooters. It is certainly hard to opt out the best one. Recently Honda has launched the latest Activa with HET, so that the firm offers a dream mileage of 60 kmpl under standard conditions.

On the other hand, Hero Mastero looks like a next generation scooter. It is the only scooter in India equipped with digital meter console.It also offers smooth drive in both cities and highways.

You should go for Honda Activa. This vehicle has really awesome milege, pick-up, smoothness in riding. You should go for it. It has metal body too.

go for hero maestro it gives around 50 kmpl, my friend has bought new activa het but the average is really poor an price is much higher than old activa....................only resale is positive point....
