Piaggio to Launch Vespa S in Mid-January in India

We have got confirmation that Piaggio owned Vespa is all.set to bring down its third scooter into Iindia namely Vespa S. The scooter will hit the Indian market by the mid of January this year.



Unlike the other scooter - Vespa LX 125 and the VX, the upcoming Vespa S has some uniqueness in design and features. According to the official website of Vespa, the Vespa S is powered by a 124cc, Single cylinder 4 stroke, electronic injection engine delivering a peak power of 8,5 kW (11,6 CV) at 8.250 rpm and a peak torque of 10,7 Nm at 6.500 rpm; which is slightly different from the 125cc heart seen in LX 125 and VX.



At the same time, some Indian websites credit that the Vespa S will be powered by the same engine that powers both the LX 125 and VX. As the official confirmation is yet to come out, you are requested to wait till then to know the right details regarding the machine.



The style itself is the highlight of the Vespa S. Its square headlight and rear view mirrors finished in chrome ensure richness and classiness to the scooter. It will be equipped with front disc brake as standard. The scooter is expected to be priced around Rs. 75,000.
