Bajaj to Launch 2 Pulsar Bikes

Oh my gosh! If this is gonna happen, I tell you guys that the whole Indian motorcycle industry and riders are gonna be crazy in no time. The story is that India's second largest motorcycle manufacturer, Bajaj Auto, is going to launch 2 Pulsar bikes within two months. The details got leaked when Mr. Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director at Bajaj Auto said about the company's plan that gonna take place by the middle of this financial year.



"Pulsar is number one sports bike in its category in India and we will launch two super sports bikes under this brand by the middle of this financial year," said Mr. Bajaj.



Will it be the Pulsar 375 and the fully-faired version of the Pulsar 200NS? Excitement is smoking up all over the Indian motorcycle market. Mr. Bajaj has told that it will be the fastest motorcycle in its class. If that was meant about the Pulsar 375, would the Pulsar 375 be faster that the monstrous Kawasaki Ninja 300? Then Bajaj will surely lead Indian bi-wheeler track to world markets.



The Pulsar 375 is likely to be powered by the same heart used in KTM Duke 390. So a 373.2cc, Single-cylinder, 4-stroke, spark-ignition, liquid-cooled engine may do the run for the Pulsar 375. It will be producing a max power of 43.5 Ps and a max torque of 35 Nm, and will be equipped with a 6-speed, claw shifted gear transmission. Meanwhile, the most powerful bike in this class, the Ninja 300 delivers only a max power of 39 Ps and 29 9Nm. While, the Rpms remain 11,000 and 10,000 respectively. The 390 Duke produces only 9000 and 7000 Rpms respectively. So when comes with the same engine of the Duke 390, the firm will have tune up for more Rpm to be more powerful than the Ninja 300.



If Bajaj could do the above stuffs, it will be more than awesome. Bajaj believes that faired machines that have their engines covered are aerodynamics and thus faster than the naked bi-wheelers Yup! That's a scientific fact.

At the same time, the second Pulsar sportsbike might be the fully-faired variant of Pulsar 200NS. It will be powered by the same 199.5cc, Type SOHC - 4V - Liquid Cooled engine that delivers peak power of 23.52 PS @ 9500 and peak torque of 18.3 Nm @ 8000. Its engine is mated with a 6 speed gear transmission.
