Even though Hero Motocorp inclined its sales figure with a record ever, after parting from its partner Honda, is in a bit worry for its sovereignty in the Indian Market. Since the World's largest motorcycle unit is being chased by it's former relater and current rival Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India Ltd, settles no reduction to Hero to rest at the top position. As a result Hero plans to launch 250cc bike in the Indian Market in 2014.
Realizing there is no hard opponent for Honda CBR250R in the 250 segment, Hero takes up its opportunity at the right time. The Kawasaki Ninja 250, which has been already in this segment ain't gaining much response as it is laboriously priced. It was only a few days back, Hyosung Motors notified their presence in the 250cc segment with its recently launched Hyosung GT250R. Moreover TVS Motors, while launching its updated Apache RTR Series told that they would be focussing on 200cc-250cc by 2014.
As it's only a rumour leaked out, details are yet to be known. Accompanying, the rumour on Hero's 350cc diesel concept is also to be revealed. Meanwhile Chennai based Royal Enfield is too planning to get back their diesel version soon as a situation of customers' necessity on diesel machines is raised.
