Indian business giant Mahindra and Mahindra Group's subsidiary, Mahindra Two Wheelers contemplates to acquaint four models soon in the India market this year. It is comprised of a scooter and three motorcycles between 100cc and 300cc.
Unveiling the upgraded version of Rodeo, Rodeo RZ, Senior Vice-President of Mahindra Two Wheelers Viren Popli said reporters, "With the introduction of three motorcycles, we will have five products, including two scooterettes. We expect to launch three motorcycles this year. The three motorcycles planned for launch would be across various segments. We have stopped production of Stallio. We will be making announcements about the newer version of Stallio very soon."
However he hesitated to state further details and added, "You have to wait and watch till launch. The company which focused on urban markets with its scooters, is also working on targeting rural markets. Rural segment, those are the areas we are working on. There will be a product for the segment. We have looked at the moped segment as well.
Mr. Popli was very much delighted to comment on Mahindra's coming 300cc superbike Mojo, "There have been so many queries about Mojo. We have been consistently getting it from South, particularly from Chennai. It will be coming soon. It is undergoing some tests now."
Meanwhile M&M joined hands with a Taiwanese firm SYM to produce better engines for their upcoming scooters.
