Ideal Jawa Yezdi 175

Yezdi 175 is the much improved motorcycle than the Yezdi Roadking and Classic in terms of design and styling. From other Ideal Jawa motorcycles, this one has adopted a much improved stylish characters in order to attract youths of India. The 250 cc engine used in Yezdi models are here being cut shot to 175cc.

It uses a single cylinder, 175cc, air-cooled, two stroke engine developed by Ideal Jawa India Ltd. This engine delivers 9.5 bhp power @ 5500 rpm and a peak torque of 14.27 Nm @ 4000 rpm. The clutch plate assembly consists of 4 friction lined clutch material. Front brake of this bike features 160 mm brake drum with twin cam double leading shoe and 160 mm brake drum with single cam single leading shoe. Like the elder siblings, it has a telescopic forks with hydraulic shock absorbers and adjustable hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear.

Kerb weight of this bike is 113kg, with a wheelbase of 1310 mm and a ground clearance of 150 mm. The larger fuel tank of the Yezdi 175 can store 14 litres of gasoline. The top speed of this bike is 95 kmph.
