Hero MotoCorp emerged as leaders in motorcycle industry with their wide range of commuter models and their famous fuel efficient engines. They have been selling commuters from 100 to 125cc across the country and other international markets as well. Glamour 125 was one good looking commuter from Hero with an enhanced visual appearance. PGM Fi is the much refined and premium version of the standard Glamour.
Engine
The PGM Fi was said to be the first Indian bike to feature fuel injection system. Therefore it is slightly priced above the standard Glamour. The 124.8cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke single cylinder engine delivers maximum power of 9.1 Ps @ 7000 rpm and a peak torque of 10.35 Nm @ 4000 rpm. This 125cc engine can reach up to a top speed of 91kmph. DC full transistorized ignition is used in this two-wheeler. Fuel system is managed by electronic fuel injectors found in cars. This 125cc, Hero's engine is quiet famous for its reliability and fuel efficiency. The running and maintenance cost of Hero motorcycles are often cheap and with fuel injection on board, it will be even more cheaper.
Design and Features
Glamour was introduced as a stylish looking motorcycle with some graphics works. The PGM Fi version too features some sticker works on fenders and extended fuel tank portion. Rear view mirrors are body colored, engine is all black painted, grab rails are body colored and a new clear lens has replaced the conventional turn indicators. Speedometer of the bike is surrounded by chrome finish, which looks very decent and clean. Along with the alloy wheels, silencer too is painted in black. The chequered flag schematic graphics works are still used in this bike.
The instrument console features semi digital display unit, which shows odometer, tachometer and a special feature called, real time mileage indicator is also showed. Moreover, it has a bank angle sensor to correct the wheel alignment. And like other Hero bikes, it too uses maintenance free battery.
Suspension and Braking
Hero uses the conventional suspension system for their entire range of commuter motorcycles. Telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers are used at the front and swing arm with hydraulic shock absorbers are used at the rear. Both of them offers a superior riding comfort for rider and the pillion. Stopping force of the bike depends on 240mm front disc brake and drum brakes at the rear.
Verdict
The Hero Glamour PGM Fi is not a feature studded motorcycle. The only highlight of this bike is, it uses fuel injection system. Hero is doing a good volume of business in the commuter segment with the standard and fuel injected Glamour. The design and styling of this bike is bit too odd and it does not satisfies the modern day customers. If Hero changes the outlook of upcoming Glamour, it would kill all the near rivals in the current market. Because, design and styling is the only factor which pulls the Glamour a bit back.

Bike is very very good and much better than Honada CB Shine. It also look good. It has muscular body an stunnig graphiscs. 1St in the segment RTMI { Real Time Milage Indicator}. I Ride the bike in economi speed i get aroung 80km/pl an excellent milage. Even 100cc can also finght to give this much aamount of milage.
In 8 Months i had no small problem detect. Engine is very smooth. Rinding is comfortable. Stability on higher speed is also good i ran upto 90km/ph.
But main con of this byke is its Price. if you dont consider the price. Then no bike for compition of Glamuor Pgm FI.
