Hero Honda CD 100 is known as the first mass hit of Hero Honda Motorcycles Limited. The CD 100 was launched in 1985 and marked a place in the heart of million riders in the country. The bike was packed with all necessary elements that needed for commuter rider. It was run by a 97cc, 4-stroke, single cyclinder, air-cooled engine. Producing peak power of 7.5 bhp @ 8000 rpm and peak torque of 7.16 @500 rpm, thr CD 100 was powerful enough for the Indian riders. Mated with a 4 speed gear transmission, the machine was capable to bring out an unbelievable mileage of around 80 kmpl.

I purchased Hero Honda CD 100 in Jan. 1990. Now its 30th year running. I am more attached to this sentimentally. Some spare parts were not available but still with my best efforts online I could get & fix it especially the rear mud guard steel one. Great bike in my life time. It has not given me trouble by stopoage at inconvenient places. For me it is a living thing though could not speak. Even now its per litre mileage is 70-75. Great.

I am using a 1998 model Hero Honda CD 100 bike for the last 6 years. I am 62 years of age. I feel very comfortable and mileage is also good. Daily I am using 50 to 70 kilometers.

One of the best thing I like about this bike is its color combination. Its perfect. See, all the new generation bikes are all plastic scrap.

One single bike that i ever love till my death. I learnt driving in the same bike and i still own the same. It is 1997 model Hero Honda CD100. I drive it very smoothly. Only power petrol used and love so much more than me when i hear the sound it feels heaven. Grateful to Hero Honda for giving me such a gift. Once i pour petrol for 50 i will drive half of the bangalore. I can challenge anyone with the mileage.
